Measurement clarification
Please note that the measurement “F” – from the middle of the sternum to the back of the tail is intended to be the length of the coat – not to be tightly measured against the hound’s body. If you want the coat “depth”(from the withers around the girth) to be 14”, take measurement “F” at that 14 “level.
For purposes of comparison, you might want to measure some of the coats you have tried on your hound and then measure the length of those coats so you are comfortable that you’ve measured correctly. While we welcome your trying on coats until you find a good fit, we do ask that you treat them gently.
